The artpiece (project) of "Colombian Perspectives) is based on a critique that shows the map of Colombia with the limits (by regions) and some of the representative objects of each regions. On the other side, there´s the colombian map with the negative representative objects to show other societie´s daily life they had to face.
*The biggest change made between the final product and the action plan was that the divisions of the maps were made by regions and not by departments.
First idea befre the development of the finl project
Idea summary:
To make a contrast between the good side (elements) of Colombia and the bad ones through an artpiece.
Artists connections:
Vik-Muniz: What was took from "Double Mona Lisa (Peanut Butter and Jelly)" was the idea of using not conventional elements as food.
Tatusya Tanaka: The idea taken from "Drumshroom" is the use of minifigures adapted in a different context to create a new object use and transformations.
Banksy: From Banksy´s artpiece "Sleve Labour"the idea taken is the critique to society and it´s different economic, social and political aspects.
Spot of the project: The project was placed above a desk in any spot but exposed in a specific way so the spectators could watch the colombian good map, but they would need to move in order to find the negative aspect´s parts of colombia.
